We seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) Registered Nurse (RN) for our Assisted Living program in Arlington, Virginia.

Schedule: 20 hour per week with schedule to be determined as part of the interview process. Available hours are Monday-Friday day/early evening.

What will you be doing?

• Assessment of residents biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care and educational factors
• Identifying residents’ health care needs and responses to health issues
• Providing nursing care based on the documented assessment of the individual's needs
• Analyzing assessment findings and discussing health care needs and priorities with the individual and family members
• Identifying residents’ goals, establishing priorities, determining expected outcomes, and designing nursing strategies needed to achieve goals
• Implementing all identified nursing strategies
• Engaging in active collaboration with residents and interdisciplinary team in development/implementation/revision of Care Plans
• Providing direct nursing care for residents including training and educational group facilitation
• Coordinating all needed health care referrals and services provided by other medical providers

Required qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A minimum of two years of clinical experience and one year of medical case management. Must be able to pass a driving record check and a criminal background check.
