Your Impact:
- Rapid Response: Rapidly respond to and resolve mill breakdowns in cooperation with area operators.
- Failure Investigations: Conduct investigations into equipment failures, providing long-term solutions to prevent future issues.
- Maintenance Strategies: Develop and enhance preventive maintenance strategies.
- Documentation: Document maintenance activities meticulously and follow up on unresolved issues from previous shifts.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of maintenance processes and resources.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment or machinery, ensuring optimal operation.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain lockout certifications and adhere to all safety standards.
- Certification: Equivalent to a Mechanic trade ticket or a 2-year degree in Mechanical studies, supplemented by relevant experience.
- Experience: At least 3 years of industrial mechanic experience, specializing in bearings, hydraulics, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Skills: Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and mechanical troubleshooting tools and techniques, including laser alignment.
- Knowledge: Understanding of reliability techniques and lubrication principles is highly regarded.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot effectively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
