We are seeking a versatile and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in High Point, NC. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipes, and electrical systems following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, repair and replace related equipment.
• Repair and maintain physical structures according to specifications.
• May install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment, such as programmable controllers.
• May set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts.
• 3 years

• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Be physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• Possess effective problem-solving abilities.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a well-organized approach and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Follow all safety protocols at all times, including using appropriate tools, maintaining a safe working environment, educating oneself on rules, hazards, and safe practices, communicating unsafe conditions, and assisting others to ensure safe practices are maintained

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
