Bartender/Server

Pastaio Royal Oak is looking for a Bartender to serve our guests. You will be responsible for creating great experiences by providing great service. A great Bartender will remember our guests’ preferences and make recommendations that meet their needs.

Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, Weekends required.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare alcohol beverages for service
• Interact with guests, take orders and serve drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations based on their needs and preferences
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications:

• Resume with recent work experience in the hospitality industry that shows skill as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of made-to-order drinks such as mixed drinks, Collins, etc.
• Able to follow instructions and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, clean, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
