Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting servers, setting up tables, delivering food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist servers in taking orders and delivering food and beverages to guests
- Set up tables with utensils, napkins, and condiments before guests arrive
- Clear tables promptly after guests finish their meals
- Refill water glasses and provide additional items as requested by guests
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping down tables and chairs
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing any concerns or special requests
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and handling cash transactions is a plus
- Knowledge of banquet service procedures is beneficial
- Basic understanding of food safety and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
