This is a great role to obtain CEs or project management experience. The Project Manager will support the team leaders and team in overseeing and managing team projects and initiatives. This role develops, coordinates, and implements project tasks and activities.Role Responsibilities:Creating Projects in AsanaAssists the team leader and teams in creating projects and subtasks (steps to achieve the project)Managing and Communicating Within ProjectsAssists team leader by coordinating project tasks to ensure all project milestones are achieved. Frequently follows up with team members to check progress on tasks being performed by the project teams especially those that are overdue or unassigned. Communicates project activities to team members and PFL’s organization project manager (Director of Project Management).Create and maintain team meeting minutes and manage the meetings' project progress and status reports segment. Disseminate meeting recap after each team meeting, assembling any required documentation for projects in Asana. Report Project StatusUpdates project status on Asana and sends updates to team lead and Director of PM during weekly meetings.Complete and maintain the monthly progress report to share in company meetings.Attend Regular MeetingsWeekly team meetings to lead the project segment of the meetingWeekly project management meetings to represent the team and share updates (30 minutes)Monthly company meeting to represent the team and share updates (60-90 minutes) QualificationsDesired Skills:Leadership skillsAbility to prioritize and manage work against critical project timelinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to juggle multiple prioritiesProven experience in identifying, analyzing, problem-solving and responding to internal and external opportunities and challenges with the ability to translate these into practical plans of actionAbility to lead and work collaboratively and support others in the development and implementation of agreed strategies within team and wider organizational contextsMust be a self-starter and possess the ability to work well with othersCollaborate on projects as both a team leader and a team memberMust possess initiative and creativity; a highly developed work ethicAdditional InformationQualificationsJunior/senior college student OR recent college graduatePreferred Bachelor’s Science or Certification in Project management, Organization leadershipTime Commitment: 6-7 hours weekly, 12-16 weeks for Interns and 6 months for volunteers. Note: Please apply if your current location is USA (CTS and EST), other location are not eligible
