PASONA N A, INC. is Hiring an Accounting Specialist Near Paramus, NJ
Global pharmaceutical company in Paramus, NJ seeks Accounting Specialist to provide support and assistance with the daily Accounts Payable activities, data entries of the company.
FLSA STATUS: Regular, Full-time, non-exempt
Salary: $40,000～$50,000 ($21.98 - $27.47/h)
LOCATION: Paramus, NJ, require 2 days a week in the office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in processing accounts payable according to company’s guidelines and schedule.
Support in issuing Purchase Order and maintaining Purchase Order records.
Collect, verify, check, review and post invoices or bills for payment.
Support Sr. Accounting Manager/Payroll-Accounting Specialist in recording General Journal entries in accounting system.
Support the Sr. Accounting Manager/Payroll-Accounting Specialist in processing Travel and Expense in Concur system ensuring reimbursement are within company’s guideline.
Administrative tasks in making copies, filing, scanning documents, etc.
Perform other tasks as required and instructed.
Qualifications
Ability to keep and maintain confidential company data and records.
Accurate and attention to detail.
Familiarity and understanding of financial and accounting systems (Sage, Concur).
Strong computer skills and proficient in MS application (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Must be able to work effectively in a multi-cultural, global team environment as responsibilities include collaboration with internal and external Japanese colleagues in Japan (HQ).
Some College or associate degree with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
Experience in SAP Concur system is preferred.
