Job Description:

We are seeking a Warehouse/Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our party rental company. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in management and business operations and will be responsible for managing the warehouse, leading our team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the growth and success of the company.

Responsibilities:

- Create weekly employee schedules and assign delivery routes strategically and efficiently.

- Manage the warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision.

- Supervise daily activities including quality assurance, space management, productivity, and team morale.

- Respond to customer reservation calls, create quotes/proposals, and assist in party planning.

- Reach out to potential customers and promote our services.

- Review resumes, conduct interviews, and participate in the hiring process.

- Train, supervise, and assess employees, ensuring adherence to company rules and work ethics.

- Oversee any repairs needed in the warehouse and coordinate vehicle repairs.

- Assist team members with loading and unloading for deliveries.

- Meet regularly with supervisors to review performance, analyze productivity, and develop action plans.

- Willingness to work overtime during the busy summer season and availability on weekends.

- Ensure customer service expectations are met and lead the team in improving operational systems and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Marketing skills, especially on social media platforms.

- Sales skills and experience in reaching out to businesses for company events.

- Mechanically inclined with handyman skills.

- A business degree is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Physically capable of handling heavy equipment.

- 2 years of management and business operations experience.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Detail-oriented, organized, and effective in planning.

- Strong communication skills - verbal and written.

- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.

- Strong leadership and vision in managing staff and initiative.

- Clean driving record.

Schedule:

- 40-50 hours per week.

- Hours typically between 6am to 8pm.

- Typically, 5 days per week.

- Must be available on weekends.

- Typical schedule may be Thursday-Monday.
