Partnership is seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our Deaf Services team! This role plays a key role in serving the Deaf community by executing efficient scheduling of interpreters, maintaining client relationships, and overseeing contractor billing and payroll. This full-time (37.5 hours per week) position is eligible for all company standard benefits, including generous paid time off!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Understanding of deaf culture and the deaf community
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience required
  • Excellent communication skills

Essential Job Duties:

  • Schedules interpreters (staff as well as independent contractors) to ensure appropriate coverage for department workloads to include on-site community interpreting assignments and at times Video Remote Interpreting (VRI).
  • Prepares and maintains the web-based schedule of jobs and responds to changes in schedules.
  • Assures effective daily operations by negotiating and communicating with clients, inputting job requests accurately and efficiently, coordinating interpreter schedules, and providing superior customer service.
  • Trains interpreters, clients, and requestors on use of scheduling software, Usked.
  • Performs accurate and timely billing for vendors and payroll for interpreters, and prepares daily, weekly, and monthly accountancy for both parties.
  • Serves as the primary contact for requestors, clients, and staff contacting the office regarding interpreting requests as well as for our business partners, owning and resolving issues or concerns.
  • Performs other related duties and/or special projects as assigned.
