Job Description Summary
DLA Piper is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its Litigation group. The ideal candidate for this position will have six (6) plus years of experience with drafting litigation documents, such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions in health care, ERISA and commercial litigation matters. State and federal court experience is a plus. The Attorney’s primary responsibilities will involve reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda. This is a non-partnership track position and is open to any of our US offices with preference for the Miami or Philadelphia offices.
We are looking for a candidate with strong communication, drafting and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. The ability to multi-task and prioritize is also required. We prefer candidates with immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools. Strong project management skills and attention to detail will be critical to success.
This is a non-partnership track position.

Pay Transparency In accordance with New York, California, Washington Pay Transparency Law, the pay for this position, if hired to work in New York, California, or Washington, is $240,000 - $255,000 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
