We are seeking a bright, hard-working Senior Family Law Attorney or Partner. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and high-profile cases. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in all areas of Family Law, including divorce, custody, mediation, and child support. The individual must have a strong passion for family law with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the field to join and help build the Miami / West Palm Beach office(s).

A little about the firm: Our client, a Prestigious Family and Matrimonial Law Practice, founded in Manhattan, is a leader in the family law sections of international, national, state, and local bar associations. Their lawyers teach and lecture at continuing education programs for lawyers, judges, appraisers, and accountants on issues relating to matrimonial law including valuation, divorce litigation, custody issues, and numerous other topics of importance to the practice and to the clients. Senior executives and leaders in finance, real estate, fashion, law, visual and performing arts, technology, media, science, academia and sports, in addition to members of many of America’s most prominent families, routinely call on this firm to help them understand and analyze their family law concerns and formulate reasonable and responsible resolutions.
About the job / Responsibilities:

Representing clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, and mediation.
Draft and file motions, take depositions, and represent clients in court.
Conducting thorough case analysis and developing strategic plans for the proceedings.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal pleadings, motions, and marital settlement agreements.
Advocating for clients' rights and best interests in court and ensuring that they are fully informed about the legal process.
Participating in continuing legal education programs to stay updated on changes in family law and to enhance skills.
Providing compassionate and practical legal advice to clients during difficult times.
Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism and adherence to high ethical standards

We are looking for the following qualifications:

A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
A valid license to practice law in the state of Florida and a member in good standing with the Florida Bar
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in family law and Courts in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties
Proven experience in handling divorce, custody, mediation, and spousal and child support cases.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with varying degrees of complexity.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a big plus but not required
Must have a transferrable business to be able to contribute at least $300K of profitable business to the firm
