Partners Personnel is now hiring skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operators.
All shifts available, Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $20-$21/hour
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials, products, and pallets within the facility.
Key responsibilities of a Forklift Operator may include:
- Operate a forklift to move materials, products, and pallets to designated locations within the warehouse or manufacturing facility.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of the forklift, checking for any issues or malfunctions; report and address problems promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse or production team members to fulfill orders, ensuring accurate and efficient material handling.
- Safely load and unload materials from shelves, racks, or trucks using the forklift.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow company safety protocols.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by reporting discrepancies and participating in periodic cycle counts.
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas, ensuring stability and preventing damage.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, removing debris and ensuring clear pathways for safe forklift operation.
- Assist with other warehouse or production tasks as needed.
Qualifications required of a Forklift Operator:
- Recent forklift experience, at least 3 months
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift safety skills knowledge
- Forklift certification a plus, but not required
- Attention to detail
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
