Seeking an energetic and reliable person to serve as Support Service Professional (SSP) for part-time work assisting an active 28-year-old man who has autism. You would support him at home with chores and structured activities and in the community by going to the gym, shopping at local stores, going out to restaurants, etc.

Ideal candidates are reliable, trustworthy, kind, and must be strong communicators. Experience working with folks on the Autism spectrum is preferred.

Salary is competitive, $22-28/hr mileage reimbursement.Part-time hours (up to 28 hours per week). Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 8:30am-6pm.

Must have valid driver’s license, a vehicle and a safe driving history, be able to successfully pass a background clearance check, and provide references upon request. Any applicants who have not resided in Pennsylvania for the last two [2] years must complete fingerprinting.

Must have at least one of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work or Gerontology
• CNA
• NADD Clinical Certification
• NADD Dual Diagnosis Certification
• NADD Direct Support Professional Certification
• Registered Behavior Technician
• Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekends as needed
