POSITION OVERVIEW

Partake Foods is seeking a Senior Operations Manager. This position will report directly into the Senior VP of Operations and will implement our organizational vision with expertise in operational strategy. The Senior Operations Manager will work with the operations team to deliver an efficient, world-class supply chain, lead production operations and our customer service organization to scale our high growth while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.

The right candidate will have strong communication and decision-making skills paired with deep operational knowledge. The Senior Operations Manager will have an agile mindset that challenges the status quo to think creatively and provide solutions to quickly solve challenges that arise within the department.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that all manufacturing operations, product commercialization, warehousing, logistics, and S&OP activities run smoothly and align with company and quality standards.
• Oversee execution of ingredient and packaging purchases, order receiving, product movement, inventory levels and reconciliation, and invoicing.
• Manage all contract manufacturing and contracted 3pl activities
• Oversee end to end customer order processing
• Manage demand planning & lead S&OP process
• Create strategies and policies for product manufacturing.
• Implement plans and procedures regarding inventory stock levels and stock losses.
• Research and implement cost reduction processes.
• Maximize organizational performance to reach the customer and company goals.
• Develop and implement better business practices.

• Manage, motivate, and develop direct reports (currently 1 FTE & 1 outsourced consultant)

• Leadership and motivational skills: A Senior Operations Manager needs to be able to motivate a team and provide SMART goals in line with company goals and expectations.
• Communication skills: An effective Senior Operations Manager must be able to communicate cross functionally within all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and conflict management skills: The Senior Operations Manager will need good conflict management skills to resolve conflict.
• Accountability: The Senior Operations Manager needs to be self-motivated and highly accountable to themself and to the organization.
• People management and motivation: A successful Senior Operations Manager will build and retain a strong team and develop positive relationships by understanding and addressing individual needs of their team.
• Delegating skills: A successful Senior Operations Manager has the ability to get things done through others and knows how and when to hand over tasks to team members.
• Ability to work under pressure: A Senior Operations Manager at Partake Foods will have to be flexible with their time and will need to oversee a number of time sensitive activities; there will be stringent deadlines to meet. It is important that the Senior Operations Manager can effectively work under high pressure situations.
• Professional experience: A successful candidate with have a minimum of 7 years of Operations management experience including experience managing contract manufacturing, purchasing, and 3pl operations.
• Education: A bachelor's degree or commensurate practical experience.
• Travel: Up to 35% travel required.
