JOB DESCRIPTION // CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs. and stand for an entire shift (8 hours, excluding breaks).
  • Ability to move/transfer products weighing up to 40lbs, from 5” to 56”, for up to 30’, for up to 10 hours per shift without mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to read and speak English at an intermediate level. Bilingual is a plus.
  • Possess excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to understand and use POS technology.
  • Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) without the use of a calculator.
  • Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a valid Food Handlers Card and TIPs certification (or equivalent).
  • Open availability including holidays.
  • Reliable form of transportation.

JOB DUTIES

  • Greet guests as they enter and exit the facility.
  • Assist with various front desk duties, including greeting and directing guests while standing for an extended amount of time
  • Use an iPad to enter order details and assign guest orders to lockers.
  • Perform all functions relating to the expediting duties of food from kitchens to the distribution hub including picking up, placing it on a cart, transporting it downstairs, placing it into locker, and entering/communicating its arrival.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the mess hall and kiosk area throughout the day.
  • Keep the retail area fully always stocked, ensuring that all retail items are conveniently and neatly placed on shelves.
  • Guide and assist guests on how to properly use kiosks for ordering and educate them on the locker and screen notification systems.
  • Check IDs for alcohol sales.
  • Sweep, mop, wipe down counters, clean restrooms, and kitchen areas during each shift.
  • Communicate effectively and kindly with tenants, coworkers, and management staff.
  • Inspect tenant order documentation for accuracy prior to delivering to lockers.
  • Organize work and storage areas for optimal accessibility and functionality.
  • Comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
  • Uphold the highest levels of maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitary operations consistent with local health code standards.
  • Maintain loss prevention standards and report missing items as needed.
  • Promote and practice safe work habits, identify and resolve potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies, and any team member or customer incidents.
  • Follow Partake’s policy & procedures as defined in the Associate Handbook.
  • Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and inventory levels of common areas and areas used for maintenance.
  • Engage with Partake guests. Identifying their needs and provide timely, accurate, useful and polite responses.
  • Occasionally move about for the purpose of assisting guests as well as accessing different areas of the facility and assisting others.
  • Engage in a positive work environment for all employees that are free from harassment, and discrimination and is compliant with all state and federally-mandated policies and procedures.
  • Perform inventory duties for retail items and internal-use supplies
  • Engage with guests during marketing and promotion initiatives.
  • Always provide outstanding hospitality and guest services.
  • Be proactive in solving customer problems and satisfying customers in various situations.
  • Organize work and storage areas for optimal accessibility and functionality.
  • Correctly use rolling carts to transfer products weighing over 50lbs.
  • Receive deliveries, confirm orders match paperwork, and store appropriately.
  • Assist with distributing dishwashing chemicals and linens to Partake tenants.
  • Perform the check-in and check-out procedures for all short-term rental spaces.
  • Execute other duties and assist other departments/positions as needed.
  • Familiarize yourself with tenant facts and current menus/concepts to inform and engage customers.
  • Adhere to shift checklists and cleaning guides.
  • Learn to identify the basic kitchen equipment, and what is offered in the shared/communal kitchens.
  • Assist with the checking-in and out protocol for hourly tenants.
