General Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef, Retail Manager, Patient Services Manager and Food Service Supervisor, responsibilities are to serve/prepare/deliver food to include: Patients, Cafeteria and Catering. Understands all essential positions on the tray line and/or cafeteria/retail area and can complete tasks as needed without assistance. Follow production sheets to insure that the proper amounts are prepared. All duties completed by specific times. May involve operating cash register.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food according to standardized recipes. * (Follows all recipes and portioning guidelines)
  • Sanitize work area according to established procedures. Follows cleaning charts and practices clean as you go guidelines.
  • Secure food and supplies for daily operation to include patient line, cafeteria line, and/or catering. Sets up work station, preps area before opening/closing
  • Follow quality controls according to HACCP guidelines.
  • Replenish food and supplies to; patient tray line, cafeteria, or catering events. Stocks as needed and follows prep and pull sheets.
