Pharmacy Technicians needed in Phoenix, Arizona
Immediate Hire – Multiple Positions and Shifts Available!
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Location: On-Site Position in Phoenix, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract to Hire (13 week assignment – Potential to convert to direct hire)
Available Shifts:
- 3pm-11:30pm – Saturday – Wednesday
- 3pm-11:30pm – Friday – Tuesday
- 3pm-11:30pm – Thursday – Monday
- 3pm-11:30pm – Wednesday – Sunday
- 4pm-12:30pm – Friday – Tuesday
- 4pm-12:30pm – Thursday – Monday
- 5pm – 1:30am – Friday – Tuesday
- 5pm – 1:30am – Thursday – Monday
- 5pm – 1:30am – Wednesday – Sunday
- 6:30pm – 3:00am – Wednesday – Sunday
- 10pm – 6:30am – Wednesday – Sunday
- 12:30am – 9:30am – Saturday – Wednesday
The Pharmacy Technician will locate, dispense, pack, and label prescribed medications to be reviewed by a pharmacist. This role will also help pharmacists with administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims, tracking inventory, and filing paperwork.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing new prescription and refill requests for patients
- Dispensing medication to patients per the prescription, or provider’s orders
- Packing and labeling a prescribed medication
- Processing insurance claims
- Tracking inventory
- Preparing compounded medications using sterile and non-sterile processes
- Filling automated dispensing machines
- Repackaging of bulk medications
