Park Pro Playgrounds is a small, family owned business, offering park and playground equipment sales and installation to cities, schools, child care centers, HOA's, etc.
We have an immediate opening for a full charge bookkeeper with construction and Quickbooks online experience.
The successful candidate must be unflappable and flexible, able to demonstrate a stable work history, with experience in multi-tasking and prioritizing daily work and projects.
Monthly coordination with our accounting firm will be a priority.
As Bookkeeper, the successful candidate will be responsible for the below:
Accounts payable: Vendor setup, bill entry, bill pay, reconcile statements, create purchase orders.
Accounts Receivable: Customer setup, job setup, invoicing to include AIA billing, prepare releases, prepare statements, collect past due invoices, process payments, prepare and send pre-lien notices.
Payroll: Track employee hours for certified payroll reports and monthly labor releases, prepare paperwork verifying payment to IRS, track/enroll/renew medical/dental/vision insurance. All payroll processes are handled inhouse utilizing Quickbooks payroll feature.
Compile and track commission pay due to 1099'd sales people.
Prepare weekly reports – Cashflow, Flash P&L, WIP report, Net A/R, retention balance.
Banking: Make deposits online, reconcile bank statements, process ACH payments invoices and create reports on taxes, expenditures, profit and loss and cash flow.
Experience required in prevailing wage reports, AIA billings and construction office billings.
Must be upbeat and work well with others.
Non-smoking office with a dog.
Dress is "business casual"; however, the successful candidate will present a professional demeanor at all times, and demonstrate consistent attendance. Must be able to pass a drug test.
Hours are 7:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday.
Demonstrated ability and experience in the following:
2 years construction accounting/bookkeeping.
Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to interface with a variety of people.
Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information, including but not limited to: human resources, personnel files, payroll, records of asset management and allocation.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.
Must have reliable transportation, which may be used occasionally in the course of the workday. Must have a valid Drivers' License and clean driving record, a DMV printout prior to beginning.
