Park Dental is Hiring a Registered Dental Assistant Near Duluth, GA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of patients. If you are passionate about dentistry and have excellent organizational skills, we would love to hear from you.

Our office will officially open on May 1st, and the office name is currently "Posh Dental Lab." Due to this, please note that interviews will be conducted at a nearby café location for the safety and convenience of both the interviewer and interviewees.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic systems (Epic, Dentrix)
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
