Quality Assurance Technician is able to provide expanded inspection and concurrence to the requirements for
product conformity. Provide support to QA Auditors to ensure that products meet the established standards of appearance or performance. Accept of raw materials and part setups and qualifications.
This is a plastic manufacturing company; Candidates with plastic-manufacturing background are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures
- Performing routine inspections and quality tests
- Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues
- Developing and implementing standards for inspection
- Developing a workflow for product inspection
- Developing plans to help a company manage waste
- Perform Root Cause Analysis on non-conforming issues and provide solutions to appropriate department
- Work with other departments to document corrective actions while managing the project
- Perform sampling inspections to Sample plans and AQLs
- Primary liaison for any sorting activity and the proper disposition of that material.
- Assist in Internal audits as needed
- Other duties as assigned Work with Assembly, and Molding departments.
- Perform housekeeping of the lab.
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- Must 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production and warehouse industry
- Good knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel
- Knowledge on Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) – Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) – Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance
- Must be extremely detail oriented – excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability
- Ability to lift 35 lbs on occasion or frequently.
Night shift ( 7PM - 7AM) 12hr shift/rotating schedule.
Must be able to work weekends
Pay rate: Up to $23/hr
