Paragon Prep is Hiring a Pre-K Teacher Near Austin, TX

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to promote literacy education, physical education, and overall child development.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their well-being and welfare.
- Plan and conduct engaging activities that stimulate cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians as needed.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities and ensure the smooth operation of the preschool program.
- Attend professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Skills:
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt them to meet individual student needs.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish positive relationships with children.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and materials effectively.
- Understanding of behavior management techniques for young children.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
