Description

Paradise Valley Country Club is seeking a Racquet Shop Attendant to provide general services in the Racquet Shoppe. This role involves various tasks, such as maintaining the pro shop's professional appearance, answering phone inquiries, and addressing members' requests. The Racquet Shop Attendant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Racquet Shoppe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to members and guests in the Racquet Shop.
• Check-in merchandise, tag items, and prepare them for display in the shop, ensuring packing slips match the original orders.
• Assist the Racket Operations team with reservations, special events, player check-in, lesson bookings, and opening and closing procedures.
• Conform to and abide by all club regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
• Maintain a professional demeanor that reflects a positive image of Paradise Valley Country Club.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Racquet Shop Manager.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to assist members and guests effectively.
• Knowledge of racquet sports and related merchandise.
• Demonstrated responsibility, accountability, and excellent time/task management skills.
• A positive and upbeat attitude, with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in understanding and executing verbal and written instructions in English.
• Professional interaction and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, and members.
• Capability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Prior retail experience.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One-year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months of related experience and/or training.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
