Paradise Valley Country Club is a prestigious private country club offering golf, tennis, fitness, swimming, and dining to its esteemed members and their guests. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our Fitness Program!
As a team member that is part of our fitness program, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized service and an exceptional experience to our members and guests at our fitness program!
Company/Job Qualities and Traits:
- Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals
- Design personalized exercise programs based on clients' individual needs and goals
- Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques and form to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to their programs as needed
- Provide guidance and motivation to clients to help them stay committed to their fitness journey
- Educate clients on proper nutrition and lifestyle habits to support their overall wellness
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Certified Personal Trainer with a recognized certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science principles
- Experience in program design and creating customized workout plans
- Background in physical education, kinesiology, or related field is preferred
- Ability to lead group fitness classes is a plus
- Sales skills to promote personal training services and generate new client leads
- Previous experience in fitness sales or sports coaching is beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current CPR/AED Certification
- 2 years training experience
- 2 years group fitness experience (spin, water aerobics, pilates, yoga, etc)
- Must be able to provide Ceritificate of Liability
Nice to have:
- Pilates Reformer Certification is a plus!
Utilization of services will vary based on member demands
