Description

Banquet Servers at Paradise Valley Country Club are crucial to the success of banquets and events. They play a pivotal role in setting up, serving, and cleaning banquet rooms, ensuring that guests receive excellent service. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of presentation and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform related banquet (dining room) set-up tasks to prepare the venue for events.
• Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
• Take beverage orders and serve food at specified stations.
• Pour and refill wine, coffee, water, and other beverages served during and after the meal.
• Empty ashtrays and clear soiled dishes as needed.
• Clean all assigned work areas in the kitchen and dining room, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
• Advise the supervisor of any member/guest complaints as soon as they occur.
• Assist in closing functions by performing various tasks, including removing linen, busing glasses, dishes, silverware, and re-setting the room.
• Attend staff meetings as required.

Requirements

• Desirable: 1-2 years of previous banquet experience.
• A strong commitment to providing excellent service and attention to detail.
