This team member is responsible for all activities concerned with the application and maintenance of quality standards for processing raw materials into finished product by performing the below duties. This person must exhibit mature judgment when dealing with others to maintain morale and goodwill of employees and customers. A high level of confidentiality is necessary in this position.
This position works a continential shift from 6 AM - 6 PM.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 12 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and verbal instructions in English for Safety and work related tasks. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other departments.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to accurately use and read a standard tape measure using 16th and 32nd measurements.
REASONING ABILITY: Analytical skills are needed for this position. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several variables and report findings to appropriate parties. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
