We are looking for a reliable, front office team member to work directly with patients and their families. The ideal candidate must have exceptional customer service experience, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a strong team player work ethic. Schedule flexibility is a must. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week; The right candidate will be a friendly, out-going personality to great each family as they enter the practice.
```Responsibilities:```
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule patient appointments using the electronic scheduling system EClinical Works
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and tidy for patients
```Experience:```
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a medical office setting
- Proficient in using electronic scheduling systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
