Panther Creek Dental is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Frisco, TX

Our Brand new Private Dental office in Frisco, Texas is growing and searching for an upbeat, outgoing and friendly Dental Assistant! The ideal candidate should have a great personality and be able to welcome our patients with a positive attitude! We take pride in delivering excellent care to our patients. Our mission is to start our family oriented loving practice in such a way that the patients are always our priority. Our staff is super kind and ethical. We have an amazing work environment that you can consider your work family.

Workdays will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday, as well as Thursdays and half Saturdays a month.(no more than 2 Saturdays a month)

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients into the dental office
  • Take x-rays that meet the standard of care
  • Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental rooms clean and well-stocked
  • Schedule appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

Skills

  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
  • Coronal polishing is a plus
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • Dental assistant school graduate.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency with Open dental is a plus
  • Experience with kids is a plus.
