Purpose of Internship

To expose, provideaccess and opportunities for college students and recent graduates to the workwe do at Panagora in the hope of kickstarting their journey into InternationalDevelopment and become the next batch of employee owners.

Internship Description

Panagora Group is a small businessproviding novel and integrated solutions in global health and internationaldevelopment. Our goal is to provide innovative solutions that build nationalcapacity and promote sustainability through robust local participation andcapacity building, utilizing highly integrated and private sector solutions.Throughout our work, we embrace a virtuous circle of knowledge stewardship,collaborative learning, and application of evidence to heighten and acceleratepositive health and development outcomes.

Panagora seeks outstandinggraduate and undergraduate students, as well as recent graduates, with aninterest in global health and international development for internships and theopportunity to lean from experts in the field. The areas of focus and placementfor the intern will include, but will not be limited to assisting with:Newbusiness development activities (recruitment, capture research, proposalwriting etc.)

Internswill be working twenty hours a week in a hybrid setting with the expectation towork from Panagora’s office in Silver Spring a minimum of 1-2 days a week perthe decision of their supervisor.

ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Track opportunities onplatforms such as the USAID Business Forecast, SAM.gov, and GovWin
• Research advancedintelligence on prospective business opportunities
• Conduct market researchand help identify potential partners/clients
• Coordinate, participatein, and provide clear and accurate notes for internal and external meetings
• Assist with recruitmentefforts for specific proposals, communicating with applicants and selectedcandidates, ensuring adherence to the Panagora recruitment processes andprocedures
• Maintain officeelectronic and hard copy filing system, including contracts and new business
• Contribute to Panagora’snew business database and other systems improvements
• Provide otheradministrative and new business support as required

The internship is unpaid. Panagora Group provides a stipend todefray the cost of travel.

Requirements

• BA/BSor MA/MS candidate (or recent graduate) pursing a relevant degree
• Strongacademic background with demonstrated interest in international development
• Strongverbal and written communication skills
• Proficientwith Microsoft Office
• Strongorganizational and interpersonal skills
• Strongresearch skills with ability to work independently and creatively
• Experienceliving and working in a developing country preferred
• Mustbe eligible to work in the USA without need for sponsorship
• Mustbe able to commit to a 3-month internship
