Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of property leasing, maintenance, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in property management. Duties: - Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing, tenant screening, lease negotiations, and move-in/move-out processes. - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the properties, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. - Handle tenant inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service. - Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, working closely with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion. - Conduct regular property inspections to identify any issues or potential areas for improvement. - Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, tenant interactions, and property maintenance. - Utilize property management software (such as Yardi) to track leasing activities, rent collection, and financial reporting. - Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports for each property. - Collaborate with the corporate office on marketing strategies and initiatives to attract new tenants. Skills: - Proven experience in property management, including knowledge of leasing procedures, tenant relations, and property maintenance. - Proficiency in using property management software (such as Yardi) for data entry, reporting, and analysis. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and address their needs effectively. - Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is preferred but not required. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and contract management. - Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with tenants, vendors, contractors, and team members.
