Validates the accuracy of data entry. Provides reports, schedules and requisitions as needed.Maintains log of Dept. personnel and surgeon activities,(workload, QI, in/out patient stats, etc.)Serves as patient scheduler when necessary. Serves as charge entry person when necessary. Validates accuracy of charges making corrections as necessary.Assist in coordinating daily schedules. Interacts with surgical team in order to start procedures on time. Participates in data collection for patient activities.Coordinates database development and management. Defines informational needs and develops plan for implementation of those needs.Establishes methods of collecting information to support management needs.
