Health Care is Hiring a Referral Coordinator Near Miami, FL

We are looking for a referral coordinator to work administratively alongside office staff. Position encompasses working with insurance companies to verify the patient's benefits and eligibility and request referrals and/or authorizations for procedures. Serves as a valued member of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for referrals and/or authorizations.
  • Obtaining the necessary CPT codes for procedures.
  • Insurance verification, copays and/or deductibles as needed for procedures.
  • Attends meetings as required and works closely with colleagues, sharing new information with regards to insurance companies

Qualifications

  • High School education, preferred.
  • ICD-10: 1 year experience (Minimum)

  • Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge and experience
  • Ability to work under tight time schedules
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

Any offer of employment is contingent on the successful passing of a background check.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
