SUMMARY: The Account Manager works within the Account Service department and is responsible for managing assigned advertising accounts and works directly with all departments inside the agency. Provides direction to agency colleagues and collaborates with them to develop and implement clients’ marketing plans. Maintain daily interaction with your clients, including briefings, business development and sales. Innovative thinking, outstanding customer service, a positive attitude and the willingness to excel are key attributes to be successful in this position. Only team players will be considered. Prepare and present marketing proposals/plans for client approval. This job includes light to moderate travel to client meetings and conventions, and at times you are required to work flexibly to meet project deadlines.
Salary (and title) are commensurate with experience. We are looking for a mid to upper level Account Executive to manage multiple clients.
We have a hybrid work schedule: work from home Mondays/Fridays, and in office Tuesdays-Thursdays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Directly supervises assigned account(s) to ensure plans are executed on time and within budget
· In-depth knowledge of the industry and clients’ business
· Work directly with Media Department to develop, implement and monitor media plans
· Work directly with Creative Team to provide direction and final approval on copy, artwork, layout and mechanicals and present to your clients for their approval
· Agency liaison for corporate and industry associates
· Identify opportunities for client business development
· Stay on the cutting edge of current marketing trends and strategies
· Manage/oversee an account service team
· Monitor your accounts and campaign results by reviewing data on an ongoing basis
· Prepare and present proposals for current and new business opportunities
· Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION: BA/BS Degree or equivalent
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 5 years advertising/marketing experience
· Proficiency with MS Office, Excel and Power Point is required, knowledge of Workamajig or similar project management software is a plus
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Able to absorb and analyze large amounts of information
· Professional, dedicated and collaborative work ethic
· Must be enthusiastic, energetic and imaginative
· Present thoughts, ideas and proposals with conviction and clarity
· Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organization
