As our Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for leading our 2nd shift team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired. You will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime, optimizing equipment performance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Our Maintenance Lead role start at $45 per hour PLUS premiums weekends and holidays.

Located in Milwaukee’s Menomonee River Valley, Villa Palermo is a state-of-the industry manufacturing facility that adjoins our company headquarters.

Our high-tech pizza manufacturing operations include an on-site bakery to produce best-in-class crusts, robotic packaging equipment, and a 24-hour shipping and receiving facility.

Our Maintenance Team contributes to Palermo’s success by ensuring that our Plant operates at a world-class level with production uptimes over 98%.

When you’ll work…

We are currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Lead for our 2nd shift team. Schedule may include periodic coverage on other all shifts.

What you’ll do…

Lead our maintenance teams to support our production teams through maintaining and repairing all production lines, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.

Coach, develop and inspire the team through day-to-day projects to install, repair, rebuild and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production, packaging, and all other plant areas.

Be involved with all aspects of equipment from installation to rebuilding, fitting, and aligning equipment to meet quality and efficiency standards.

Demonstrate and share strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on controls such as, PLC’s, VFD’s, servos, robotics, and programable devices.

Utilizing knowledge from your 8 years’ experience leading a team of mechanics through mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, and electrical repair to facilitate seamless production functionality to deliver daily production goals.

Organized and methodical approach to problem solving – often in a time-sensitive, tight-deadline situation where accuracy is critical.

Designated lifelong learner with a strong interest in mastering new mechanical technologies.

People focused leader promoting team growth and development through excellent communication skills, ready to step in on the team and work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.
