Job Summary: The Mechanical Project Manager plays a critical role in the successful execution of mechanical projects, overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and fostering effective communication between our company and clients. This position requires strong leadership, budget management skills, and a commitment to safety.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between our company and clients, ensuring clear communication and effective conflict resolution. 
• Enforce contractual provisions to uphold project integrity and maintain strong client relationships. 
• Provide comprehensive supervision for on-site mechanical staff, ensuring smooth technical operations. 
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand mechanical project requirements and adapt operations accordingly. 
• Manage schedules for mechanical project teams, ensuring optimal coverage and conducting regular performance evaluations. 
• Demonstrate expertise in budget management to keep mechanical projects financially on track. • Thoroughly review and approve mechanical project plans, aligning them with organizational goals. 
• Prioritize safety concerns, promptly addressing and ensuring full compliance across the mechanical worksite.
• Conduct detailed reviews of project contracts before submission to management and address inquiries from potential partners. 
• Act as a mediator for on-site conflicts related to mechanical projects, fostering a harmonious work environment.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications: 

• 3 years of experience in a mechanical project management role. 
• Professional certification in mechanical project management desired. 
• Proven budget management experience within mechanical projects. 
• Familiarity with developing and implementing a Site Safety plan for mechanical worksites. 
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Working Conditions: 

• Work primarily conducted on-site at mechanical project locations, with occasional off-site meetings. 
• Flexible schedule may be required, including nights and weekends. 
• Travel may be necessary for project-related activities.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to stand for extended periods. 
• Capability to lift up to 30 pounds.
