Job Summary
The Sr. Director of Professional Services role is overseeing a team of implementation staff for deployment of the assigned client solution. The role works cross functionally to support the success of the implementation and it may require hands on project management or implementation tasks if needed.

CA, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MO, NC, NE, PA, TN, TX, UT,
Expected base salary range
Depending on location and experience of candidate: $125,000-145,000/year
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
  • Own portfolio of projects across all product brands. Collaborate with the Project Management Office to assign team members to projects.
  • Be responsible for overall customer health, customer satisfaction, and removal of blockers.
  • Manage a team of business and technical consultants.
  • Work with consultants to prioritize, escalate, and manage customer critical issues.
  • Establish and maintain proactive communication with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Leverage insight from customer interactions and data to identify and manage risk proactively.
  • Establish strong relationships with Sales and Product Management leadership to ensure customers' needs are well represented.
  • Recruit, develop and manage a team of implementation experts who deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Day-to-day management and development of the team and facilitate sharing of information and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide feedback on learnings from involvement in project activity to further refine the project methodology and standards.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize project methodology and continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Manage resource levels and work assignments to ensure effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 8 years leadership experience with emphasis on software implementation and customer service with various ERPs and large book of accounts
  • Proven leadership competencies running client experience operation including recruitment, performance coaching and development
  • Proven track record acting as a change agent and driving change management effectively across the organization
  • Experience driving cross-functional process improvement initiatives
  • Experience with process design and roll-out in a B2B environment that keeps the client experience at the forefront of the decision making and implementation process.
  • Strong judgment with the proven ability to balance growth, retention and profitability business goals against operational constraints and risk
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships which introduce win-win solutions across departments and with clients
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Highly complex problem solving ability
  • Ability to work effectively within the organization where the position does not have responsibility over functional teams but does have overall responsibility for client satisfaction/retention
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Familiarity working in a start-up environment
