The Learning and Development Coordinator plays a critical role in smooth department operations, outcomes and employee support. This role is responsible for assisting, creating and administering training in the Learning and Development department. | ||

Performance Responsibilities | Coordinate Training Sessions and Workshops (in-person & virtual): This entails scheduling sessions, booking venues or virtual platforms, and coordinating logistics such as equipment setup, technology, logistics and catering. The coordinator works closely with trainers, subject matter experts, and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery of training programs. Training Development Support: Support the Learning & Development Specialist in the design and development of training materials tailored to address identified needs and learning objectives. This includes creating presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, translation and other resources. For instance, the coordinator might use instructional design principles to develop interactive e-learning modules on customer service techniques for frontline staff. Maintain Training Records: Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and completion. This involves using learning management systems (LMS) or other tracking tools to document employee participation, track progress, generate reports and manage customer training portals. The coordinator ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies regarding training documentation. Supporting employees with training completion program awareness. Provide ongoing support to employees through raising training awareness, providing technical support and championing learning and development opportunities at Painters USA. | ||
Safety Requirements | All Painters USA employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including the following: reporting hazards, unsafe work practices and accidents immediately to their supervisors, wear required personal protective equipment. Employees have the responsibility to follow safety procedures, and complete all assigned safety training. Employees must also recognize and correct hazards and report hazards to the appropriate supervisor. It is the responsibility of each employee to conduct all work in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state and federal safety and health regulations, programmatic standards, and special safety concerns identified by Painters USA for use in a particular area or with a client. All employees are the experts on the tasks they perform and the tools, equipment, and materials they use. Painters USA therefore encourages workers to report safety and health concerns and make suggestions for making the workplace safer. They can do so directly with their supervisors or Safety Department. All employees will report accidents and incidents immediately to their supervisors. | ||
