Description

This associate must possess the skills necessary to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a dynamic and fast paced environment. They will also be required to accurately record all transactions regarding product lot numbers, product movements, and general product information within the warehouse, serve as an in line quality check to ensure finished pallets meet the necessary standards, act as a first line of defense regarding the inspection of both inbound and out bound trailers, and will also need to be comfortable communicating to truck / delivery drivers as they arrive to the facility.

The work schedule for this position would be 6:00pm-6:30am with alternating days off and every other weekend required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent forklift experience; prior forklift certification a plus.
• Ability to read/comprehend varying forms of paperwork; English required
• Must have the physical ability to meet strength and movement requirements.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment reading and basic math works samples.
• Demonstrates interpersonal behaviors required for effectively communicating with co-workers and working cooperatively.
• Ability to make effective decisions within established guidelines.
• The ideal candidate has a willingness to accept supervision, follow stated guidelines and requirements and is committed to safety and quality standards.

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule as needed (overtime and Saturdays).
