We are currently seeking a dependable Service Technician to join us in maintaining our legacy of exceptional service. In this role, you'll perform a full range of on-site maintenance and repairs on assigned products, contributing to our commitment to excellence. Role Responsibilities:

Device Assessment and Troubleshooting:

• Observe and troubleshoot mechanical devices.
• Dismantle and inspect for defects.

Adjustment and Repair:

• Adjust and repair functional parts.

Installation and Maintenance:

• Install special parts and conduct preventive maintenance.

Metalworking and Electrical Repairs:

• Operate metalworking tools for part fabrication.
• Repair electrical equipment.

Customer Interaction and Documentation:

• Handle repair requests and document service visits.
• Obtain customer PO# for repair expenses.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Test device performance and troubleshoot for future needs.

Quoting and Purchase Orders:

• Prepare service quotes and initiate purchase orders.

Progress Tracking and Record Keeping:

• Demonstrate progress in technical abilities.
• Maintain an updated service literature file.

Qualifications: Your Passport to Success with PackSmart

Experience and Education:

• Minimum two years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree in business or technical training preferred.

Technical Proficiency:

• Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and process diagrams.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to demonstrate clear communication of technical information.

Essential Attributes:

• Valid Driver License.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed with excellent interpersonal skills.

Physical Capabilities:

• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable in warehouse environment conditions.

Flexibility and Certifications:

• Flexible schedule, including limited weekends.
• Forklift or relevant equipment certifications are a plus.

Willingness to Travel:

• Able to travel locally to ensure service excellence for our customers.
