Pacific Northwest Fertility & IVF Specialists, a state-of-the-art clinic offering a wide variety of treatments ranging from basic care to the most advanced fertility technologies, is looking for a Laboratory Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is vital to helping us create tailored, personal treatment plans for each of our patients. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The position will begin at our Seattle location, and will pivot to Bellevue in the summer.

Please note: this position includes weekends.

General Duties:

• Greet and register new patients; obtain patient demographic, financial, insurance, and clinical information with great attention to detail.
• Perform clerical duties including chart preparation, scanning, and faxing.
• Act as liaison between physicians, clinical team, and other practices to coordinate information flow, including obtaining missing information to expedite patient visits.
• Manage multiple phone lines and schedule detailed appointments.
• Enter laboratory data and assist laboratory in daily duties as needed.
• Check in patients for procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• College degree preferred.
• Able to maintain confidentiality consistent with HIPAA regulations; previous healthcare and medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Demonstrated success in detail-intensive and tech savvy work.
• Experience in EMR, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; SharePoint and Medical Billing Software a plus.
• General knowledge of insurance, including referrals and authorizations.
• Must be very reliable and able to regularly report to work on time for the scheduled shifts, which will include weekends.
