Pacific Living Centers of Grants Pass at Heidi is Hiring an Executive Director- Pacific Living Centers of Grants Pass at Heidi Near Grants Pass, OR

We are looking for an Executive Director for our 15 bed memory care community in the heart of Grants Pass. You will partner with 4 other Pacific Living Center ED's in town, lots of nursing support, extra staffing support and more.

The Executive Director oversees all operations of the Residential Care Facility. He/she must create a clean and comfortable environment that meets the scheduled and unscheduled needs of the residents. This will be accomplished by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. You will also work in conjunction with the two other executive directors that operate similar communities miles away.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Discuss with potential resident/client terms and conditions for providing facility and/or agency services and associated costs for those services.
  • Assessing the needs of all residents, developing and implementing the overall care plan and ensuring that each resident’s personal care needs are met. Work with residents, families and friends and staff to admit, discharge and handle the day to day needs of the residents.
  • Prepare lease, rental agreement, and/or service agreement for residents/clients. Collect rents and other applicable fees.
  • Assist with eviction of tenants in compliance with Department of Human Services.
  • Oversee the collection and recording of resident expenses.
  • Arrange for alterations to, or maintenance of, property as specified in management services or resident/client Lease agreement.
  • Prepare periodic inventory of building contents and property conditions
  • Assist the VP of Operations in developing annual operating budgets.
  • Ensure that adequate supplies are available. Review all purchases by departments to ensure that company purchase procedures and budgets are being followed
  • Responsible for hiring and staffing the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Coordinate and oversee the orientation and training of new employees. Ensure that all staff members are familiar with their duties and are following prescribed programs.
  • Coordinates interdepartmental teamwork
  • Review and approve all schedules, ensuring that there are adequate staffing patterns to meet resident needs; in some cases, the manager will also need to set up the schedules.
  • Conduct staff meetings as needed
  • Encourage and provide opportunity for employee cross-training and staff development.
  • Perform employee annual evaluations and make recommendations for annual payroll increases to VP of Operations.
  • Follow the company medication program for each resident who requires assistance with medication; pass medications as prescribed by the attending physician
  • Occasional travel is required.
  • Ensure that facility policies and procedures are followed.
  • Develop, implement and maintain a marketing program.
  • Develop and assist with family and community involvement.
  • Order and maintain food supplies on-site.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages subordinate supervisors and department heads. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of each department.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
