PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
All responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following. Management retains the discretion to add or change the responsibilities of the position at any time.
· Perform Take-offs: Material Quantities and Square Footages for maintenance and construction bids.
· Measurement properties with Goilawn Software
· Enter and evaluate bid information into Aspire Enterprise software
· Develop Designs with: Dynascape, ProLandscape, Sketch Up, and Auto Cad
· Work closely with Salesperson, Account Managers for accurate and timely bids
· Develop and update marketing material
· Manage website updates and social media
· Coordinate and assist marketing activity
· Create proposals that will ensure quality, safety, customer satisfaction and profitability.
· Maintain positive working relationship with Branch/Area Managers and peers.
· Meets weekly with Branch Managers to review workload, schedule, and timeframes & deadlines
· Hand Drafting in pencil and ink/Color rendering

TECHNICAL ABILITIES: .
· Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Aspire Enterprise Software, ProLandscape, GoiLawn, Photoshop and other design and presentation software
· Experience in design, estimation, contract management, project management, and permitting.
· Mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication; as well as use simple formulas in order to do cost-benefit analysis and develop appropriate proposals.
· The ability to apply principles of logic to a wide range of problems is needed
· The ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
· The ability to think through various conflicting objectives to meet goals set
Interpersonal Skills /Communication:
· Ability to communicate and interact effectively both orally and in written format with all parties needed (i.e. customers, employees, supervisors)
· Ability to deal with a large amount of people contact via various methods (phone, e-mail, fax and in person)
· Ability to work cooperatively with others to ensure company goals are met (Sales for coordination of drawings for proposals)
· Extensive knowledge of all paperwork necessary to fully execute sales contracts
· Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
· Ability and drive to follow up on appropriate sales leads and make cold-calls on potential customers as well as establishing and maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales
· Ability to remain organized in a changing environment
· Able to negotiate through company software in order to produce proposals and communicate within and outside of the company
· Ability to manage one’s own time effectively
· Must be able to self-motivate and work alone

QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience:
Required:
· 2-5 years of previous landscaping, design or sales experience required or equivalent experience.
· Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Management or Horticulture, or equivalent experience.
· Ability to correctly communicate in English, orally and in writing.
· Valid Driver License with approved driving record.
Desired:
· Landscape design and construction
· Estimating landscape plans
Education and Formal Training:
· Bachelor or Associate degree in Horticulture, Architecture, Design or related field
· Bilingual skills – English / Spanish.
· 2-5 years of previous landscaping or sales experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to constant distractions, such as walk-ins, phone calls and impromptu meetings
· The noise level in the work environment is that of a typical office and during the “growing season” many deadlines and situations arise that cause high pressure situations Ø Work schedule may vary due to season.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must maintain a professional driver demeanor when subjected to driving mistakes of other drivers on the road
· Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
· Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
· Must be able to speak on the phone for prolonged periods of time.
· Employee must pass drug screening testing at hire.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· Employee must have reliable transportation to assign work locations.
· Employee must pass a Background check.
· Follow dress policy to be neat in appearance and in a manner consistent with a professional atmosphere.
