Pacific Cycle is Hiring a Remote Digital Merchandising Specialist (Hybrid)

Join our team as a Digital Merchandising Specialist! This exciting role will aid in the execution of our marketing strategies across mass and sporting goods channels. With close partnership with our sales teams and customers, the Digital Merchandising Specialist will drive online and in-store merchandising to ensure a best-in-class purchasing experience. 

This role is based out of Madison, WI corporate office and is eligible to participate in the company's Hybrid work program; working in the office 3 days and eligible to work remotely 2 days. 

Below you will find a few (but not all) of the main responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee the promotion activities for the assigned customers and product lines maintaining retailer-specific calendars that include product launches, print execution, and digital outreach. 
  • Partner with brand marketing and product managers to develop marketing initiatives aligned with both our brands' and retailers' strategies. 
  • Support the marketing team in content proofing, ad agency support, spend tracking, and weekly reporting. 
  • Work with the omni-channel manager and sales team to develop an online merchandising strategy that puts the consumer of the buying process. 
  • Review and evolve the onsite digital marketing strategies including SEO and Content, affiliate program, email, and product reviews.
  • Collaborate with retailer marketing teams to build and execute marketing campaigns and analyze data from each campaign. 
  • Project manage line reviews including consolidation of presentation materials and sample merchandising. 
  • Identify sales opportunities from customer behavior, ratings and reviews, customer satisfaction surveys, and feedback forms.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field 
  • 2 - 3 years of digital/ecommerce product merchandising and promotional strategy management. 
  • Online and/or digital marketing experience required, with experience working with large national retailers preferred. 
  • Experience with a PIM system (Salsify or Syndigo), retailer tools (Walmart Connect, Profitero, Retail Link) and analytics tools (Power BI) beneficial
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, "self-starter" environment, serving as a catalyst for change and managing multiple work streams simultaneously. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage communication within a highly matrixed and large organization.
