Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our rapidly growing national insurance firm. The right candidate will possess prior insurance sales or service experience, be self-motivated, and will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers through various communication channels.
Duties:
· Responds promptly and professionally to inbound calls and emails regarding policy coverage and claims
· Contacts new policy holders to introduce the company and explain the policy
· Builds rapport with customer. Listens to and responds to requests and inquiries
· Works to retain policyholders who inquire about canceling
· Helps policyholders understand policy contract. Makes recommendations for coverage enhancements or policy changes
· Process policy changes accurately
· Communicates premium payment information. Payment plan options, policy change premium impact, one-time payments and alternate payment arrangements
· Manages and utilizes time effectively to ensure department and individual goals are achieved
· Documents all policyholder interactions and places policy in follow-up if applicable
· Utilizes technical systems effectively and efficiently
· Fostering and maintaining relationships with carrier underwriters
· Keeping accurate records and notes on all client activities and document in the client management system
· Monitor claims for client satisfaction
· Performs other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
· 1 years’ experience in insurance sales, claims processing or customer support
· Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (Required)
· Ability to Multi-Task in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Must possess a strong work ethic, be reliable and have a positive attitude
- Commercial insurance experience (Preferred)
