Pacha Soap Co. is Hiring an Accountant Near Hastings, NE

- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records using QuickBooks and our Inventory Management System.
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner, ensuring that all reasonable discounts are taken.
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.
- Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed and accurate.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and an orderly accounting filing system.
- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
- Issue timely and complete financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors as necessary.
- Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis.
- Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
- Process payroll in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and propose improvements for accuracy and productivity.

- CPA preferred, but not required.
