PAC NYC’s Graphic Designer will work closely with the Creative Director to conceptualize and execute captivating design concepts while maintaining visual appearance, usability, and brand continuity. This is an opportunity to help shape the visual identity of an exciting new institution as we roll out our inaugural season!

Your key responsibilities

• Executes all stages of design, from concept to final product for comprehensive marketing campaigns with direct mail, brochures, advertisements, email and web creative, program books, digital ads, outdoor billboards and transit creative, and comprehensive development campaigns with direct mail, invitations, pitch decks, sponsor reports, and other materials as needed
• Contributes as an active part of the Marketing and Audience Services team, supporting all advertising and promotional strategies to meet institutional goals
• Maintain and manage creative queue of projects from start to finish, including meetings with stakeholders to understand their needs/goals, offering design expertise and advice, taking creative direction, and creation of the final product
• Maintain project and image filing systems
• Stay up to date on design trends, software, and other tools as appropriate
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

What it takes to be successful in the role

• At least 3 years of experience in fast paced, deadline driven design department
• Strong design ability and an excellent portfolio demonstrating these skills
• Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational, trafficking and communication skills
• Proven track record of taking projects from initial concept to finished piece
• Ability to work effectively with employees and team members and demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and teamwork
• Ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Ability to work well, build rapport and make persuasive case for support with diverse constituent groups, both internally and externally.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud in a Mac environment
• Pre-press production experience a must
• Video editing and illustration skills a strong plus

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary will range between $65,000 and $75,000 plus full benefits. Our benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Full time employees are eligible for paid time off and 401K enrollment with employer match.
