OWC is searching for a Light Assembly I positionto help OWC deliver high-quality computer-based electronic devices while ensuring efficient production processes.

The Light Assembly I position is responsible for the assembly of a variety of computer-based electronic devices. Assemblers primarily focus on ensuring the quality of the products they assemble, with a secondary emphasis on production quantity.
This roles involves repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment to efficiently produce high volumes of quality products.

What Will You be Doing?
Install hard drives and optical drives into various 1 and 2 bay external enclosures.
Pretest, load software, and uniformly package devices for retail sale.
Repack returned goods to stock.
Assemble and disassemble computer-related products to OWC specifications.
Maintain a strong focus on maintaining Quality Control (QC) during batch processing of electronic components.
Meet or exceed the expected time frames for various builds as directed by the Supervisor.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of Mac and PC operations and functions.
Proficiency with the current ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
Interface with ERP inventory management and make accurate adjustments to documents.
Package and kit computer-related products to OWC specifications.
Perform production duties such as manual lifting, taping, labeling, sealing, and sorting.
Report defective materials, components, enclosures, or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve product problems.
Communicate technical product information to appropriate departments.
Maintain personal packaging equipment and work area.
Work within a warehouse environment and interact with coworkers on a daily basis.
Able to work 8-hour shifts (Monday to Friday), within the hours of 10 AM - 7 PM, and Saturdays on a revolving schedule.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation Structure for the Position
The compensation package for this role includes a competitive hourly rate of $19.00, with a shift differential for the 10 : 00-7 : 00p shift.
