OTG Management is Hiring a HRIS Specialist (FT) Near New York, NY
- Analyzes, prepares, and inputs payroll data via the Ceridian Dayforce HCM system.
- Reconcile payroll and validate final reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll related errors.
- Weekly Tip Reconciliation.
- Work directly with Managers in Operations to ensure accurate and timely timesheet completion.
- Prepare Ad Hoc, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Year End reports (gross payroll, hours worked, PTO, Union deductions, benefit deductions etc.) for management.
- Maintains current knowledge and ensures compliance of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
- Ensures accurate and compliant garnishment deductions and benefit contributions.
- Serve as a business partner and work closely with HR to provide support to our field teams.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years payroll experience Required.
- Tipped payroll processing experience.
- Union payroll experience preferred.
- Canadian payroll experience preferred.
- FPC/ CPP preferred.
- Working knowledge of payroll best practices.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong work ethic and committed team player.
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to maintain a confidential work environment.
- Ability to communicate information to employees and management.
