Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare providers in the office. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient care, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the medical facility.
Duties:
- Take patient vital signs, record medical history, and update patient information
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform EKG
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide medical administrative support such as managing medical records.
- Assist with patient education and provide information on medications, procedures, and follow-up care
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic life support
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional patient service
