Job Overview:
We are immediately seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. in the Greater New Orleans Area. The ideal candidate will assist us in building a strong Litigation practice. This would be in various legal tasks, including research, drafting legal documents, and providing support in litigation matters.

The person would have direct client access and not be "shielded" from client.

Duties Include:
- Conduct legal analysis and research using resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
- Assist in negotiations and settlements
- Support senior attorneys in trial preparation and court appearances
- Manage case files and maintain documentation
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations

Skills:
- Proficient in A.I. and legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Have strong negotiation skills
- Excellent legal writing abilities
- Knowledge of legal research methodologies
- Experience in legal drafting and document preparation
- Familiarity with litigation procedures
- Ability to handle legal administrative tasks efficiently
