Osito is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to considering all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics.
Opened in late December 2021, Osito is Chef Stowaway’s inaugural restaurant, and received its first Michelin star in 2022. It is San Francisco’s only 100 percent live fire, fine dining experience, located in the heart of the Mission District. More than just a restaurant, Osito is a community of makers, farmers and supporters who have brought the Osito concept to life in the middle of a global pandemic with a philosophy to create an experience that is special and memorable, as well as accessible and inviting. The Osito experience is intimate – a place where strangers become friends in a warm setting, with a menu comprised of the most beautiful ingredients of the day. The beverage program is rounded out by an extensive wine selection with a focus on natural and biodynamic production, with carefully selected sakes, ciders and beers. The menu is inspired by collective memories and moments of nostalgia from Seth's past growing up in south Texas and his experience cooking on the California coast.
